Loom continues its expansion. The 'coworking' division of Merlin Properties will open three new spaces this year and will expand another three in Madrid and Barcelona.
The goal of the flexible spaces company is to increase its footprint in both cities by 52%. Thus, throughout this year it plans to reach 13 establishments, totaling more than 27,500 m2, with capacity for 2,844 jobs.
In Madrid, Loom breaks into the prime area of Azca, with two new spaces: in Castellana 85 and Castellana 93. In addition, after the full capacity reached, it will expand the spaces it already has in Torre Chamartín and in the Ática business park, in Pozuelo de Alarcon.
In Barcelona, for its part, it will open Loom Ferretería, in the innovative 22@ district, and Loom Plaza de Catalunya, in the impressive Casa Pich i Pon building, which will have private terraces as a great novelty. In addition, after reaching 100% occupancy, it will expand its coworking located in the iconic Torre Glòries building.
"This powerful expansion in such strategic enclaves of Madrid and Barcelona in 2022 responds to the great reception that our spaces are having in the market, demonstrating that flexible offices adapt with agility and versatility to all the space needs of any company, regardless of its size or time horizon," says Fernando Ramírez, director of Loom.
