The law firm RCD has moved its Madrid headquarters to a building located at Calle de la Palma, 10, in a transaction advised by the real estate consultancy firm Savills. The new headquarters, owned by the Royal Metropolitan Group, occupies a historic 18th century building that was originally built to house the Royal Wax Factory and has recently been refurbished to adapt to current needs.
The building, with more than 2,900 sqm distributed over five floors, has been designed to encourage collaborative work and interaction between professionals. Its facilities include a 450 sqm multi-purpose room, a 60 sqm soundproofed audiovisual space and several open areas, including two terraces of more than 200 sqm. The building has LEED Gold sustainability certification, reflecting RCD's commitment to energy efficiency and respect for the environment.
With this move, the firm reinforces its strategic plan, aligning the new headquarters with its growth and operational needs. The space seeks to position itself as a meeting point for companies and professionals, facilitating meetings, events and workshops in a prominent location within the legal sector in Madrid.
Adolf Rousaud, co-managing partner of RCD, highlights the importance of this new stage: ‘This new location is perfect for the development of our objectives and a milestone in our path towards excellence, which will allow us to continue growing and offer a more comfortable, flexible and efficient working environment for everyone’.
Ignasi Costas, also co-managing partner, underlined the dynamic character they are looking to bring to the new headquarters: ‘We want our new headquarters to be not just a place to work, but a dynamic space where creativity and technology come together to shape the future. In addition, we aspire to make it a centre for knowledge exchange and collaboration for the business community in Madrid.
