The German fund Kanam bought an office building at 22@, Barcelona, from the Enric Gregori family office. The fund will pay 67 million euros for it, according to various financial media. The property will be the second Amazon headquarters in Barcelona that has another office building in the same area.
The asset is located between Tànger and Álaba streets, and has 8,400 sqm of offices and 900 of outdoor spaces. To the ecommerce will be allocated 7,000 sqm and 1,000 sqm to Catalana Occidente. The asset was built by OHL and has the Well Good sustainability certificate.
The other asset that Jeff Bezos's company is renting shares a street, Tangier. This property totals 11,000 sqm and is owned by Stoneweg and 1810 Capital Investments. The signing of this contract, at the time, was the largest real estate operation in Catalonia in the last ten years.
