IWG, the global provider of hybrid work solutions that operates brands such as Spaces and Regus, has expanded its network by opening a new flexible workspace in Palma de Mallorca, marking its second location in the city. This development comes at a time when the adoption of hybrid work has seen accelerated growth in the region, with IWG responding to the growing demand for coworking spaces.
The new center is already the workplace for companies of varying sizes and startups from different sectors, benefiting from IWG's "Design Your Own Office" service, which allows companies to fully customize their workspace. In addition, this location offers private offices, meeting rooms, coworking areas and a terrace.
Located on Paseo Marítimo Gabriel Roca, opposite the marina and in the Santa Catalina area, the center aims to extend the benefits of the flexible work model to a greater number of professionals in Spain. Complementing its offer, IWG also operates a space under the Regus brand at Carrer Gremi de Sabaters, 21, in the Polígono Industrial Son Castelló, reinforcing its commitment to the island.
The opening coincides with a period of growth for IWG, which recently announced record revenues in its 35-year history. Anticipating a significant expansion of its global network in 2024, the group is pointing to its financial performance as a pillar for continued growth, having added 867 locations by 2023. According to a study by Global Workplace Analytics, hybrid working enables companies to reduce their operating costs, with an average savings of €10,000 per employee in this format.
IWG's expansion strategy seeks to meet the needs of a wide range of clients, from multinationals to small and medium-sized companies and entrepreneurs, highlighting the value of flexible working to improve productivity, efficiency and competitiveness.
