Iberdrola Inmobiliaria and Axa Seguros Generales have concluded a lease agreement for 6,310 sqm of office space in the Torre Ponent, located in the Bcn Fira District business park in Barcelona. The offices, which are distributed between the eleventh and twenty-first floors of the tower, will serve as new corporate services for the insurance company.
The Bcn Fira District, where Torre Ponent is located, is a recent development that seeks to attract companies of various sizes, with space available from 315 sqm. Its location provides direct access to major roads and connections to public transport, including metro and buses that connect to Sants station and other key points in the city.
The business park also offers a range of services such as meeting rooms, auditorium, gymnasium, restaurants, and terraces with views of the city and Montjuic. It also has private parking for cars, motorcycles, bicycles and scooters, including charging points; 24-hour security, car wash, storage rooms, and wifi in common areas.
This agreement is part of Axa Seguros Generales' expansion strategy and strengthens Iberdrola Inmobiliaria's presence in the Barcelona office real estate market. Bcn Fira District has established itself as an attractive business hub in the city, backed by its sustainability-oriented design, which has earned it BREEAM Excellent and Well Platinum certifications.
The operation, advised by the real estate consulting firm Savills, contributes to the consolidation of the Bcn Fira District as the largest business park in Barcelona, with a total space of 130,000 sqm, which already houses several well-known companies. Iberdrola Inmobiliaria continues to maintain a portfolio of assets in operation of more than 200,000 sqm and owns more than 3.5 million sqm of land for future residential and tertiary projects.
