Impar Grupo, a comprehensive real estate services company, has taken on the project and construction of the renovation of the old institutional building, headquarters of the Madrid College of Industrial Engineers. The aim is to convert it into a modern office building that meets all the needs of young companies interested in this type of location. The building, which belongs to real estate fund managers IBA Capital Partners and Naropa Capital, has been leased by Red Bull, which will establish its headquarters there.
Impar Grupo is at an advanced stage of execution of the works, which propose two main interventions. Firstly, the aim is to maximise natural light in the interior, creating open spaces that are permeable to light. This involves extending the courtyards and opening up the façade openings towards the street.
Secondly, a modern building has been successfully integrated into the historic centre by means of a composition of façades that are both contemporary and respectful of the surroundings.
The building has four floors and is located in the centre of the Justicia district in Madrid, close to Gran Vía, Fuencarral and Hortaleza streets. It has two entrances, one on Calle Hernán Cortés and the other on Calle Farmacia. It is estimated that work on these new Madrid offices will be completed by the end of July this year, and it is expected to be handed over to its tenants before the end of the summer.
