EU Business School is expanding its facilities and consolidating its presence in Barcelona. The educational centre is already present in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district, on Avenida Diagonal and Calle Ganduxer, and will now continue its expansion with its third location in the upper area of Barcelona. The "Upper Sarrià" building, located at Calle Osi, 7, has a surface area of 3,826 m2 and is owned by Meridia Capital.
According to Mr. Carl Craen, CEO of EU Business School, "We signed this agreement in the year in which we celebrate our 50th anniversary. The opening of this building is a celebration of our success and a sign of our commitment to providing world-class education to our student body of over 120 nationalities. The prime location and spaciousness of this new campus will provide our students with an optimal environment for study and recreation. It will be a key element in our future growth in Barcelona.
The completely refurbished building has the design and flexibility to accommodate new workspaces, classrooms, meeting rooms, offices and common areas for both students and staff. It consists of 2 buildings linked through the ground floor, Leed Gold certified, central courtyard, terraces and 10 parking spaces. The operation has been brokered by the real estate consultancy Forcadell.
According to Manel de Bes, Director of the Office Department of FORCADELL, "training centres are still very active and are increasingly opting for buildings in the city centre with facilities and amenities for their students".
"Upper Sarrià" is strategically located in one of the most exclusive areas of Barcelona, in the heart of Sarrià, a few minutes from Avenida Diagonal and Gran Via de Carles III. A place close to the main accesses of the city and with excellent public transport connections, with bus, metro and train stops less than 10 minutes' walk away.
