Deloitte has announced that it will invest 25 million euros in a technology center in the center of Lisbon. To be completed by the end of 2025, the Deloitte Tech Campus Lisbon, as it is called, will support 2,500 highly qualified professionals in the fields of innovation and advanced technologies.
First stone has already been laid
The first stone of the new Tech Campus was laid this Thursday. The campus will operate in conjunction with other offices that are part of the Deloitte Portugal network, strengthening the capacity to provide high-tech and innovative services to the national and international markets.
Deloitte's new project will provide services in areas that are currently critical to the competitiveness of organizations, with a special focus on generative artificial intelligence and digital transformation. Through the creation of this physical center, it will be possible to continue to invest in the diversification of consultancy services in innovation and digital transformation.
António Lagartixo, Managing Partner/ CEO of Deloitte Portugal, says that "the Deloitte Tech Campus is another important milestone in the strategy that we have been pursuing over the last few years and that has positioned us as a leader internationally as one of the main catalysts for digital transformation and the development of solutions based on the most advanced technologies.
The Deloitte Tech Campus - Lisbon also includes the installation of operational centers that will support the services provided in the areas of cyber security and optimization/operation of communication networks.
Deloitte thus strengthens its presence in Portugal, fulfilling the objective of increasing its capillarity and ensuring that it is closer to talent pools, whether in the major urban centers, Lisbon and Porto, or in other coastal and inland districts, namely Braga, Faro, Viseu and Coimbra.
