Corum Eurion, belonging to the French management company Corum Asset Management, acquired a building, Heroísmo 283, measuring 6,072 square meters, subject to refurbishment in 2021, in the business center of Rua do Heroísmo, in Porto.
The second property acquired by Corum in Portugal, totals an investment of around 16 million euros. The building's tenants are the technology companies Infraspeak, Koerber and Sitel.
José Gavino, General Manager of CORUM Investments in Portugal, underlines that: «we are very pleased with this investment by CORUM Eurion in the city of Porto. We hope to continue to find opportunities to invest in Portugal. The building we acquired fits perfectly into the portfolio of the fund, characterized by commercial, versatile buildings and with tenants with good financial capacity».
Predibisa was responsible for mediation in the investment business, in partnership with Onara Partners, of the building equipped with open space work areas, offices, meeting rooms, bar, pantry and terrace in a private outdoor patio.
«With the existing pipeline, our perspective is that this will be a year of growth. Portugal remains in the sights of investors in view of the dynamics of a market, which is increasingly credible, but also due to the high rates of return, compared to other European countries. Today, investors value us for being a Porto company guided by a management paradigm, in terms of international business models», infers João Leite de Castro, director of Predibisa's corporate department.
Corum, in Portugal since 2014, has a portfolio of 13 buildings, having invested more than 86 million euros in Portuguese territory.
It is worth remembering that the Heroísmo 283 building was a candidate for the National Urban Rehabilitation Award (PNRU) this year.
