Real estate company Conren Land, through its Spanish subsidiary Conren Tramway S.L., has completed the lease of 10,000 square metres of office space in the building that previously housed Braun's headquarters in Esplugues de Llobregat, Barcelona. This space has been leased to two international companies in the medical technology sector following a comprehensive refurbishment of the property, marking a milestone in the development of the project.
The property, with a total area of 18,000 sqm, has been transformed into a modern campus of office and research space, specifically designed to attract companies from sectors such as life sciences and technology.
One of the tenants, a group specialising in medical technology, has leased some 2,000 sqm, while another company, focusing on sample preparation and testing technology, will occupy 8,000 sqm.
Conren acquired the former Braun site in 2022 with the aim of renovating and adapting it to the needs of today's market. Following an extensive refurbishment, the property has been redesigned to offer a flexible environment that can accommodate single or multiple tenants.
The location, in the district of El Gall, is characterised by being a hub for the pharmaceutical sector, with the presence of important companies and the proximity to several hospitals and medical centres.
This project is part of Conren's broader strategy, which includes large-scale investments in the Barcelona and Madrid markets. In 2021, the company launched a €400 million fund aimed at boosting real estate projects in both cities.
