Cink Coworking, the flexible workspace solution, announces the opening of its eighth flexible office centre on 18 September. This new space is located at number 70 of the centrally located Calle Orense, a strategic business area, just a few metres from Plaza de Castilla, Paseo de la Castellana and Cuzco.
As part of its expansion plan in the Madrid flex market, the company announced last July three new openings in the last quarter of 2023. The upcoming opening in Orense will be joined by the second opening in Ríos Rosas at the end of the year (Chamberí) and the third opening, which is located in a central area of Madrid, will be announced soon. In this way, the Madrid firm of flexible spaces continues with its growth plan in the Castellana Norte axis in the face of the boom that the sector is experiencing.
A multifunctional space oriented to the real economy
The new centre at Orense, 70 is located on the ninth floor of a consolidated building and a reference in the area. This new centre has been completely refurbished with a very careful design, following the quality standards of the rest of the spaces, characterised by the use of sustainable materials and the use of national suppliers.
In this new space, users will be able to access private spaces such as offices of different capacities, all of them with great natural light, as well as access to meeting rooms and a dining/office area to take a break and enhance networking moments with the rest of the hosted companies.
One of the main features that make this new space stand out is its multifunctional room for events, training and presentations, which meets the needs of any user who needs to have a large space for different occasions in the development of their activity, such as conferences, courses or classes, group dynamics...
As usual, all the company's centres cater to the demands of a professional profile that is looking for a well-communicated work space adapted to their needs. "More and more we find users looking to rent offices within a shared workspace to save on costs compared to the traditional office, whose maintenance is more difficult to assume", says Mar Saavedra, director of the Cink Coworking spaces.
The Cink Coworking business model is aimed at meeting the needs of SMEs, freelancers and startups. "Our philosophy is based on a flexible offer oriented to the real economy, providing innovative and fresh spaces adapted to all types of freelancers, SMEs and startups", says Mar Saavedra.
Boom in demand for flexible workspaces
Flexible workspace contracting continues to boom and operators continue to be immersed in their growth plans. Madrid and Barcelona are the main operators in the flex market. Both cities account for 80% of the market share. The demand for flexible offices grew by 21% in 2022, according to the real estate consultancy JLL.
In the capital they reach an average occupancy rate of 85%, with a stock of 1.7%, while in Barcelona it is 81% and the stock stands at 3%, according to data from JLL and CBRE.
In the coming years, the sector is expected to continue to grow, especially in central areas, which is where the greatest demand for this type of flexible work solutions is concentrated.
