Cushman & Wakefield (C&W), a leading global consultancy in real estate services, announces that it has advised on the leasing process for a 1,657 sqm space in Porto Business Plaza, which will be occupied by Celfocus, a European high-tech systems integrator. In this operation, C&W represented the company that owns the development, Ciagest, part of the Capitólio Group.
Celfocus, present in more than 25 countries, provides professional systems integration services, with a focus on the Analytics and Cognitive areas. Founded in 2000, Celfocus began as a joint venture between Novabase and Vodafone Portugal and is now wholly owned by Novabase.
By moving into the Porto Business Plaza premises, the company joins Natixis, Bouygues Telecom Services, Teya and Green Sales, among other companies that have chosen this new business centre to locate their offices.
Porto Business Plaza is located in the Bonfim parish area, which is undergoing renovation. It is close to both the city centre and the VCI and also has a public transport network. These factors have attracted a growing number of companies.
"Porto Business Plaza continues to attract companies, mostly global and innovative in their areas of activity, largely because of the central location it offers, an important factor for most organisations with this profile. This and other transactions that we have monitored, both in the region and in this project in particular, allow us to conclude that Porto's office market continues to be a destination of choice for Portuguese and international occupiers," emphasises Maria João Pinto, a consultant in the office department of Cushman & Wakefield Portugal in Porto.
