The CEF.- UDIMA Education Group has acquired a building of approximately 10,000 sqm at Paseo del General Martínez Campos, 30, in Madrid’s Chamberí district. According to the company, the transaction was concluded off-market, with Cushman & Wakefield advising the buyer and Ramón y Cajal Abogados providing legal support.
The property, which is currently vacant, previously housed the Directorate-General for Taxation of the Department of Finance. Following refurbishment, the asset will become the group’s future headquarters in Madrid, according to information provided by the company.
The acquisition forms part of CEF.- UDIMA’s growth and consolidation strategy and coincides with the upcoming 50th anniversary of the education group.
Cushman & Wakefield attributes this transaction to the education sector’s interest in assets situated in central locations and established urban environments. According to the consultant, Madrid recorded more than 517,000 sqm of office take-up in 2025, including 133,000 sqm in Q4 alone, with an increasing average deal size reflecting renewed corporate activity.
