CaixaBank has closed the lease of a 3,000 square metre building owned by Núñez i Navarro located in the Pedralbes neighbourhood where it will move CaixaBank Wealth, its division specialising in advising high net worth individuals.
CaixaBank Wealth will occupy the entire building, located at 6-8 Carrer Pedro i Pons. Previously, among other tenants, the building was occupied by LivingLab, a division of the technology group NTT Data Company, which used the space to set up an Everis innovation school, an ideas incubator, an exhibition space and a digital experience research centre.
In addition, the building was also home to Bankpime, the Bank for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, which CaixaBank acquired for 16 million euros on 30 September 2011, coinciding with the end of the recapitalisation process of the financial system promoted by the Bank of Spain after the 2008 crisis.
