Arxada becomes the new tenant of BCN Fira District with Cushman & Wakefield. The Basel (Switzerland) based chemical manufacturer will locate its new offices in Torre Llevant to develop its new Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Spain.
Arxada has chosen the 130,000 square metre BCN Fira District business park in Barcelona to house its new headquarters. The building meets the highest sustainability standards, including energy certification A, and has achieved BREEAM Excellent and Well Platinum certification.
Cushman & Wakefield has advised on the transaction and is also handling the entire project, from the conception and design of the offices to the execution of the works, through its Project & Development Services (PDS) department.

Arxada's main objective for its Barcelona headquarters is to create its Expertise Centre, and therefore, Gemma Cuch, from Cushman & Wakefield's PDS department, states that "it is basic to provide the necessary spaces for its employees to foster collaboration and innovation, adapting to the new ways of working". Cushman & Wakefield was also responsible for the design and construction of Arxada's headquarters in Basel.
Torre Llevant, BCN Fira District business park
In addition, both Torre Llevant and Torre Ponent, located in BCN Fira District, are the first office buildings in Spain to achieve #WellHealth-SafetyRating certification, which focuses on operational policies of maintenance protocols and a safe design strategy.
Furthermore, the BCN Fira District business park, in addition to offices, offers a wide range of high-quality services, including a four-star hotel, private parking, bicycle parking, 24-hour security, catering options, a gym and electric vehicle charging points, among others.
