Aticco has opened Aticco Diagrame, its new co-working space located at 105 Pere IV Street, in theBarcelona’s 22@ district.

With a total floor area of 20,000 sqm and capacity for around 2,200 people, Aticco Diagrame is the largest co-working space in Spain and southern Europe. The building, with LEED Platinum certification, opened its doors on 23 March with an initial occupancy rate of 75%.

The building is owned by Patrizia SE, a player in the property market, with whom Aticco has reached an agreement for the comprehensive management of the asset, as well as its day-to-day operations and revitalisation.

In addition to workspaces, meeting rooms and relaxation areas, Aticco Diagrame features five large terraces with city views, event spaces with capacity for over 200 people, a restaurant, a rooftop swimming pool, a gym and dedicated facilities, a pickleball court, a climbing wall, such as a breastfeeding room and a gaming area. It also features a large private car park.

Among the companies joining Aticco Diagrame are tech start-ups and scale-ups with a significant national and international presence. Together, these companies are valued at over €20 billion, have secured more than €4 billion in funding and have over 20 million users worldwide, as well as employing more than 6,000 professionals globally, including four companies valued at over $1 billion.

“Aticco Diagrame represents a key milestone for us at an operational level. We have been able to transform and adapt this space in record time to turn it into an environment ready for companies with high expectations and in constant growth. Our aim is for Aticco Diagrame to become the epicentre for innovative companies with high potential, not only in Barcelona but throughout southern Europe. Because being at Aticco means growing, evolving, operating with flexibility and being part of a community that drives business development”, said Gabriel Espín, CEO of Aticco.

This opening follows the agreement signed in October between Aticco and Patrizia SE for the lease of office space in Barcelona’s 22@ district, marking the initial step in the development of this flagship asset. The deal anticipated the transformation of the building into a major co-working hub, now realised with the launch of Aticco Diagrame.

Aticco currently operates 14 co-working spaces across Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Lisbon.
