Advenis Reim, through the real estate company Elialys, it has acquired a 3,850 square metre office building in Sant Cugat del Valles (Barcelona). Although the price of the operation has not been disclosed, market sources value the asset at more than nine million euros.
It is a six-storey office building with 39 indoor and outdoor parking spaces. It is located in the northwest of Barcelona, in a mixed-use area (residential and offices) between the urban centre of Sant Cugat and the Serra de Collserola natural park.
The property was owned by Kantar, which occupies it on a rental basis. In fact, the marketing and data analysis company will remain in these offices after the sale, which has been advised by Cushman & Wakefield. Built in 1991 and refurbished in-house between 2020 and 2022, the building is energy efficient and low carbon.
Elialys' latest investment in the Spanish office market dates back to the end of last year, when it acquired the building housing Bbva's Castilla-León regional headquarters in Valladolid for €19.5 million. It is a complex with two separate buildings, totalling 5,100 square metres.
