Rina has completed the acquisition of 100% of Gloval, a firm specialising in property valuation and technical consultancy in Spain and Portugal, a transaction that creates a European platform with over €25,000 million in monitored and valued assets.
The acquisition, carried out through Rina Prime Value Services, also incorporates Prime Yield’s operations in Portugal and brings together thousands of assets valued in accordance with RICS standards, more than 40,000 valuations linked to financing transactions and tens of thousands relating to NPL and NPE portfolios.
The deal is being finalised against the backdrop of a recovery in the Spanish property market, which in 2025 mobilised over €18,000 million – 30% more than the previous year – with activity spanning residential, hotels, retail, offices and alternative assets. The transaction thus expands the group’s presence in the Iberian Peninsula, one of the markets included in its European growth strategy.
Rina Prime Value Services’ business plan aims to exceed €200 million in revenue by 2030 by expanding its services and integrating digital tools into its valuation, technical consultancy and data analysis processes.
Ugo Salerno, Rina’s executive chairman, attributed the focus on Spain to the performance of the residential market, which, he noted, is performing more favourably than in other European countries and is recording double-digit increases in asset values in major cities.
Roberto Rey, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Gloval, emphasised that joining the group will enable the company to combine its knowledge of the Spanish and Portuguese markets with a broader international and technological reach, while continuing its activities in valuation, consultancy and data analysis.
