Real estate developer Trammell Crow Company (TCC) has completed the construction of its second logistics project in Granollers, Barcelona, and has pre-let the entire 14,152 square metre site prior to completion. The tenant, an automotive company, will also occupy the 77 parking spaces included in the property.
The asset, called Citydox Granollers, was developed by TCC in collaboration with AEW, a real estate asset and investment manager. AEW acquired the site last year through its development fund Logistis, and construction of the project was completed in August this year.
The building has been designed with Breeam Excellent certification and has an EPC A rating. In addition, the structure is prepared for the installation of solar photovoltaic panels across its roof and has multi-modal electric vehicle charging facilities.
Thierry Bougeard, Logistics Director for Iberia at Trammell Crow Company, said that the addition of an automotive company as a tenant at Citydox Granollers reflects the high quality of the development and the growing demand for prime logistics space in Spain.
