The international fund BentallGreenOak has acquired a turnkey logistics warehouse in Guadalajara from the construction company Pavasal, in an operation advised by BNP Paribas Real Estate
The asset, which has a useful area of 38,400 sqm , has already been leased to the logistics company Factor 5. The warehouse has the Leed Gold certification granted by the Green Building Council, which guarantees compliance with the highest quality standards in terms of sustainability.
The plot on which it stands has more than 60,000 sqm and is located in the municipality of Alovera, in the third ring road of the Corredor de Henares, a consolidated logistics area, with direct access to the A2 motorway. In the areas there are top-tier operators, such as ID Logistics, XPO Logistics, TechData or DSV, and investors such as Merlin Properties.
BentallGreenOak is part of SLC Management, which is Sun Life's alternative asset management business. It has offices in 24 cities in twelve countries and manages assets worth 70,000 million dollars.
The Spanish logistics segment continues to attract the interest of international investors such as BentallGreenOak. Last year, this segment managed to capture almost 3,000 million euros, representing 25% of the total investment in 2021. In fact, it registered an increase of 90% compared to 2020, and 59% compared to the previous market peak ( 2019).
