The Talus investment group has finalised the lease to RFL Cargo for module 1 of its logistics park in Albuixech, Valencia, covering 9,345 square metres. The transaction was advised by the firm Inmoking, which specialises in services and consultancy in the logistics real estate sector.
The leased space is located in the Polígono del Mediterráneo de Albuixech, 10 kilometres from Valencia and 20 kilometres from the Port of Sagunto. Within a 65,570 square metre plot, the logistics warehouse is distinguished by its large capacity and adaptability, divided into five modules ranging in size from 7,700 to 44,600 square metres.
Notable features of the facility include a clear height of 11 metres, 75 loading bays, 16 gates and extensive manoeuvring areas. Additionally, the warehouse is equipped with LED lighting and DECK ceilings, highlighting its energy efficiency, backed by BREEAM Excellent and Net Zero Emissions Certification. It also has photovoltaic panels and charging stations for electric vehicles, reinforcing the commitment to sustainability.
RFL Cargo, a company focused on logistics solutions, will occupy this modern facility, expanding its capacity to 11,000 pallets and prioritising efficiency and sustainability. The company expects to be fully operational by the end of this month, as scheduled.
Talus, with more than 1.7 billion euros in assets under management, including logistics, residential, offices, hotels, self-storage and retail, has established itself as a player to be reckoned with in the market, operating international funds and developing projects from Spain.
Inmoking, for its part, expressed satisfaction at having advised on this first lease, anticipating future occupancies due to the limited availability in the logistics market in Valencia, according to Jorge Pomar, co-managing director of the consultancy.
