SEPES, the public land business entity, has put 335,289 square metres of industrial and logistics land up for sale in its Parque Huelva Empresarial development.
Parque Huelva Empresarial is a logistics and industrial park just five kilometres from the city centre, eight kilometres from the port of Huelva and next to the A49 motorway (Seville-Portugal) and the N435 (Huelva-Extremadura). This is a strategic development, both for its location and for the possibility it offers of grouping plots of land, which would allow projects requiring up to 92,000 sqm to be accommodated on a single block.
The 56 plots put out to tender, with surface areas of between 557 and 62,669 sqm, are marketed at prices of between 49 and 100 €/sqm depending on the size and use of the plot. They total 335,289 sqm and are expected to attract more than 1,300 jobs to the area.
These prices represent a reduction of between 15% and 35% with respect to the last tender value of this business area, and with which SEPES will attract important projects to this enclave of the capital of Huelva, which will generate new economic activities or expand existing ones, whether they are small, medium or large companies.
The process of commercialisation of these plots will be done through public tender, with a deadline for receipt of bids until 20 July at 13:00h.
Through this type of action, SEPES seeks to fulfil its social function of promoting the creation of jobs throughout the territory, encouraging demographic challenge policies and attracting new economies.
At present, the public land corporation has 15 million square metres of final business land for sale, as well as another 1,550 hectares of land, also destined for economic activity, in different stages of urban development management. This work is combined with the development of public residential land, to be used for social housing.
