Reolum has acquired an industrial unit in the El Crispín industrial estate in La Robla, León, which it will use as an innovation centre and technical offices for its projects related to green synthetic fuels. The property is valued at €12 million and covers a total area of 49,750 sqm, of which around 3,000 sqm will be fitted out as offices.
According to the company, the space will house a laboratory, technical office, storage and pre-assembly area, and a testing workshop. The facility will support testing and technical supervision work linked to the development of its industrial projects.
During the construction of La Robla Green, the building will serve as a base for the technical staff responsible for supervising the works and as a storage and pre-assembly space. Once operational, it will serve both La Robla Green and Villadangos Green as a base for administrative offices, a technical workshop, a spare parts warehouse and a testing laboratory.
The facility will thus fulfil functions both in support of the construction work and as a source of technical and operational support for the subsequent operation of both plants.
