Panattoni has announced its new project in the Empresarium Zaragoza logistics park, just 10 km from the city centre. This is Panattoni's fourth project in Zaragoza, a step forward after its last three projects in the Zaragoza logistics platform (Pla-Za).
The plot, previously occupied by an automotive manufacturer, covers a total of 114,000 square metres. The project will allow the construction of a warehouse of up to 54,000 square metres, which can be configured for a single client or divided into modules for multiple tenants. This space will include a minimum clear height of 10.5 metres and may include an office building. In addition, the design will incorporate 70 truck bays and four van bays, together with a 480-space car park.
The development will seek BREEAM Excellent certification, which evidences a high standard of sustainable construction. It will feature facilities such as LED lighting, solar panels, electric vehicle charging stations and bicycle racks, as well as green areas designed for the well-being of workers.
Empresarium Zaragoza benefits from a location with direct access to major transport arteries, such as the A-2/AP-2, providing fast connections to cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia and France, and improving access to important European routes for international freight transport.
