Panattoni has closed the lease of its logistics development 'Panattoni Park Zaragoza II', which has a surface area of approximately 15,350 square metres, to Fútbol Emotion, a company specialising in the online sale of football articles, part of the Sports Emotion group.
Panattoni Park Zaragoza II' has been developed assuming the risks of the project and consists of an adaptable building, capable of operating in various modules or in a unified way, as implemented by its next tenant. This construction includes technological innovations, complies with NFPA regulations for fire-fighting systems, incorporates ESFR K25 sprinklers, has 12 loading and unloading bays, as well as two level access ramps. It also has a free storage height of 10.75 metres and a large manoeuvring area 39 metres wide, exceeding the usual standards for the sector.
The complex is located in the Zaragoza Logistics Platform (Plaza), one of the most important logistics centres in Spain. Located 10 km from the centre of Zaragoza and 3 km from the airport, the project offers solutions for storage, distribution and last mile logistics, representing a strategic resource for Fútbol Emotion, which already has two additional facilities in this enclave.
The Zaragoza Logistics Platform has established itself as a hub for global e-commerce players. Panattoni has already delivered two logistics buildings at this location and maintains a warehouse available for rent within 'Panattoni Park Zaragoza III'. Direct access from the A-2 facilitates connection to the national motorway network and to Zaragoza Airport, which reached a cargo record in 2021 with almost 200,000 tonnes, positioning it as one of the most important airports in Spain.
Panattoni's commitment to sustainability
According to Panattoni, the design of the building favours energy efficiency and environmental quality, decisive factors for Fútbol Emotion. The logistics park is currently in the process of obtaining BREEAM 'Very Good' certification for sustainable construction, guaranteeing long-term sustainability and the well-being of its users.
In addition, the property benefits from a 100kW photovoltaic installation, capable of supplying clean energy to both the building and the electric delivery vehicles, and the project's offices are expected to obtain A energy certification, consolidating Panattoni's commitment to sustainability and innovation in the logistics-industrial sector.
