The American real estate logistic company acquired its second parcel within Zaragoza’s Logistic Platform (Plaza) where it intends to build a 14.000 sqm warehouse, according to a release issued by the company.
The new building will stand on a 25.600 sqm parcel on which a single 14.000 sqm building for a single client can be built, or a multi-tenant building with several warehouses with between 2.500 sqm and 4.500 sqm each can be built, according to the needs.
The company intends to have construction works finished during this year’s third quarter. The building will have 16 loading docks for lorries, 56 for vans, a vehicle charging station, a photovoltaic plant and a fire protection system. Panattoni assured the building’s flexibility will allow it to combine cross-docking activities with last mile, so as to better distribute the goods.

«The Plaza is a key location within our geography for the sector, even more with the significant increase in goods arriving through the airport», highlighted Gustavo Cardozo, Panattoni’s general manager for Portugal and Spain, who also added that this «will be a flexible project which may satisfy its last mile needs».
The building will be certified Breeam Very Good and it will have several applications seeking to make the project sustainable and respectful towards the environment.
