Novo Banco sold Lisgráfica's former facilities, in the Queluz de Baixo Industrial Zone, in Oeiras. This is, so far, the biggest transaction of the year in the industrial sector (in terms of area) in the Portuguese real estate market.
It is an industrial unit with 48,000 sqm of gross building area, on a plot of 105,000 sqm. The property was acquired by a national investor operating in the content area, for its own use.
Novo Banco was advised by CBRE in this operation, through its Industrial and Logistics department.
Nuno Pereira da Silva, director of this department, comments in a statement that «as CBRE once again deserved the confidence of Novo Banco for the commercialization of an asset in the industrial sector, with demanding challenges, an aggressive commercial strategy was defined, in order to conduct the process within the goals set by the client».
The director considers that «in addition to having required a great effort on the part of CBRE, highlighting the know-how of our team in this type of assets, this operation proves the strong dynamics of the Industrial & Logistics sector and the great appetite of national investors and international are depositing in our market, looking for properties to rehabilitate and/or for the development of new projects».
