The real estate developer has acquired a plot of 88,000 square meters in Abrera (Barcelona) for a price of more than fifteen million euros, according to different market sources. Its development, depending on planning, is scheduled to begin in early 2023.
The land is located near the main motorway networks that connect with Madrid and France, and about 25 kilometers from Barcelona. The company is expected to build a logistics complex of around 44,000 square meters of gross leasable area (GLA). The operation has been advised by Garrigues, Arcadis Spain and Forcadell.
"By acquiring this extraordinarily located industrial plot in one of our main markets, we put ourselves in an even stronger position to meet the great demand for modern, sustainable and high-quality logistics space that we are currently seeing in this area," says Manel Vericat , general manager of Logicor in southern Europe.
