The company continues its active acquisition policy in Europe and strengthens its leading role in the logistics business with the purchase of two new assets in the country, this time located in Andalusia and leased to Correos. The transaction is part of a purchase of more than 6 million euros that the socimi has carried out, which also includes two properties in France.
The first of the assets acquired by Iroko is in Huelva, west of Seville, not far from the border with Portugal, in an area with a population of more than one million inhabitants. The second is in Jaén, between the cities of Córdoba and Granada, in the heart of a business park that already hosts companies in the sector such as GLS, Seur or Nacex.
The Huelva asset is newly built and the one located in Jaén is recent (2019). They have a surface area of more than 7,300 sqm and are fully leased to the company Correos Express under a 10-year firm lease, counted from the delivery of the buildings.
Iroko already has plans to acquire a third courier platform in Spain, on the plot next to the Jaén asset, which will be delivered in the coming weeks. This asset will be fully leased to CTT, the Portuguese leader in the courier sector.
