DPI-Dadelos has leased to Sonepar España, a company specialising in the B2B distribution of electrical products, solutions and related services, a greenfield project in Puerto de Sagunto (Sagunto, Valencia).
Specifically, the logistics platform is distributed over a total buildable area of more than 21,000 square metres on a 27,000 sqm plot of land. The leasing operation has been led by Víctor Jiménez, director of the Industrial/Logistics Department of Olivares Consultores.
The asset, which will obtain Breeam environmental certification, has 27 loading bays, two access ramps for trucks, five access doors, a clear height of 12 metres and an enclosed area of more than 40 metres.
Sonepar has invested 11 million euros in the adaptation of this new distribution centre, which will be operational next year.
Rafael de Tomás, CEO of DPI-Dadelos, said: "This is yet another example of the quality and speed with which we create high value-added environmental projects. We welcome Sonepar España to our development in Puerto de Sagunto, which will allow them to optimise all their processes".
Antonio Durá, VP Supply Chain at Sonepar Spain, commented that "the Autostore storage and order picking system implemented in this Sagunto project has 35,000 bins, will significantly increase our daily order picking capacity, increase product availability, enable more efficient use of packaging and reduce delivery times".
