Bruimavic has acquired an industrial building in the Coslada industrial estate with a built surface area of 2,646 sqm on a plot of 5,242 sqm. The previous occupant of the asset was a leading European multinational in the manufacture and distribution of aluminium profiles for building and industry. The refurbishment of the property will be completed before the end of the year.
The warehouse is located in one of the most important industrial parks in the Community of Madrid, the Coslada Industrial Estate, the first municipality on the A-2 motorway, just 15 kilometres from Madrid city and less than 10 minutes from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport.
Bruimavic is a Spanish developer and investment company specialising in the purchase of logistics warehouses for their refurbishment and subsequent placing on the market on a leasing basis for the end customer.
The real estate consultancy firm Cushman & Wakefield has been in charge of advising the seller. According to Guillermo García, logistics & industrial consultant at Cushman & Wakefield Spain: "Cushman & Wakefield continues to assist in the refurbishment of older industrial and logistics parks in need of upgrading. Local and international developers are fully aware of the need to enhance the value of these assets, as there is an increasing shortage of land in the first crown of the Madrid region.
