Ares has acquired a turnkey logistics warehouse of 24,057 sqm in Torija (Guadalajara), from the promoter Gran Europa. The sale and purchase operation has been advised by BNP Paribas Real Estate and Invertica.
The warehouse is built on a 44,279 sqm plot and integrates 38 loading docks, in addition to having large yard funds for maneuvers. The asset enjoys a privileged location as it belongs to Torija, with close access to the A-2 motorway, and the ship is 73 kilometers away from Madrid.
Torija is considered an optimal location for XXL logistics with companies that share the same location, such as Leroy Merlin, Bridgestone, Primark, XPO Logistics, Factor 5 and Amazon.
This is the second asset that Ares acquires in Guadalajara, in the logistics axis of the Corredor de Henares. Last July it acquired a warehouse in Cabanillas that is fully rented to the Factor 5 distribution company.
