A family office has leased a cross docking warehouse in Elche Parque Empresarial, in the province of Alicante, to Ontime, one of Spain's leading logistics operators, according to the real estate consultancy BNP Paribas Real Estate, which has been involved in advising and marketing this transaction.
The property, built on a plot of 21,710 square metres, has 11,248 sqm, of which 2,296 sqm are offices, and has 38 docks for trailers and 44 for vans.
Elche Parque Empresarial is positioned as a consolidated industrial area that is well communicated with the metropolitan area of the zone. Specifically, the park is located 12 km from the centre of Elche and 13 km from Alicante.
Silvia Climent, senior consultant at BNP Paribas Real Estate, said that "several projects are currently being developed in the logistics area of Alicante and investment activity is growing there thanks to its excellent communications and the growth of exports and tourism".
