Liberbank sells its real estate company Mihabitans

Liberbank has put on sale its branch Mihabitans. The idea is to cut part of its real estate strategy.

As informed the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), to Spanish Real Estate, this plan of real estate divestment begun about three months ago, and has several candidates, without formalized agreements yet. Liberbank intends to reduce its slowness below 7% in 2018, in comparison with the 13% at the end of the first quarter of 2017 and the 19.5% in 2016.

The same source explains that Mihabitants is a 100% branch of Liberbank created on 2016 from the internal unit of the Bank’ real estates. Manages the real estate assets of the entire Group Liberbank, which exceed the €3.000 million and include those of Banco de Castilla-La Mancha and of Beyos and Ponga.
