Leonardo Hotels buys its 6th hotel in Spain

Israeli hotel company, Leonard Hotels, just reinforced its asset portfolio in Spain, with the acquisition of the old Vincci Granada, the sixth Spanish hotel and the first in Andaluzia.

This is the first transaction to be made after the Group had announced, in the beginning of July, its plans to grow in Spain, elected as the number one market regarding its strategy of expansion in Europe. As revealed, at the time, the General Manager of LH Europe,  Daniel Roger, the goal of Leonardo Hotels is to «double its presence in Spain within the next two or three years».

La Alhambra city is now the third destination of Israeli company on Spanish territory, after Madrid and Barcelona where it has, respectively, three and two hotels.

Centrally located, the old Vincci Granada is a 4-star hotel with 176 rooms, restaurant, lounge bar and two meeting rooms with capacity up to 100 Pax. The purchase value was not disclosed, and the buyer consultant was Hogan Loweels.
