The family-run hotel chain Well & Come Hoteles, owned by the García Daza family, is expanding its presence in the Spanish market with the addition of a new project in Alicante. The project represents an investment of €16.5 million, earmarked for both the acquisition of the property and its construction and comprehensive development.
The future hotel will be located in the Benalúa Sur neighbourhood and is designed as a 106-room establishment catering to both tourism and business travellers. Key planned amenities include a rooftop pool, a spa area, a meeting room for professional gatherings and on-site parking. The company expects the project to be completed and ready to open its doors by the end of 2028.
The architectural design and interior design will be handled by CMV Architects. This team will work on a comprehensive concept that integrates the brand’s identity with the unique character of Alicante and its urban surroundings. Furthermore, the opening of the establishment will have a direct impact on local employment, with an estimated 45 jobs to be created.
This acquisition and launch will become the third city centre hotel for Well & Come Hotels. Until now, the group has been operating in Barcelona and Málaga, two destinations where it has been consolidating its business model.
The family has been consolidating a family-owned model, in which the ownership and management of assets remain within the family. This approach allows for direct control over the development of each project and long-term growth planning. With a presence already in Barcelona and Málaga, and now with Alicante on the horizon, Well & Come Hotels seeks to establish itself as an expanding urban chain. Its strategy combines geographical diversification with the refurbishment of its existing portfolio, thereby strengthening its position in the Spanish hotel sector.
