The Visasur group from Seville has recently acquired a hotel in Pamplona, located in the Los Agustinos shopping and leisure area, according to EjePrime. The company will operate the establishment through its AZZ Hoteles brand. The operation, the price of which has not been disclosed, has been advised by the hotel consultancy Ispal Advisors.
The establishment opened in 2006 under the brand name NH Agustinos, the chain promoted by Antonio Catalán, although at the end of last year it closed its doors and began a sale process led by Ispal, which has ended with the Andalusian group's landing in the hotel market of the Navarrese capital. Visasur has renamed the asset as Pamplona Norte, with the opening scheduled for the end of June, and does not rule out undertaking capex investments to increase the hotel's total number of rooms.
Located just four kilometres from the centre of Pamplona, in the business area of Los Agustinos, which concentrates the greatest commercial-industrial activity in the capital of Navarre, the establishment has 60 rooms spread over three floors. It also has five rooms with a capacity of 400 square metres for holding social and professional events.
