Vila Galé disembarks in Spain. The Portuguese hotel operator plans to open an establishment in Isla Canela (Costa de la Luz, Huelva) in April 2024, owned by Grupo Pryconsa. Vila Galé currently operates 31 hotels in Portugal and 10 in Brazil.
The future Vila Galé Isla Canela will be located next to Isla Canela beach and will offer 300 rooms with terraces, two swimming pools, two restaurants, three bars (one of them by the pool), a Satsanga Spa&Wellness with indoor pool, gym, massage rooms, Turkish bath, sauna and hydro-massage pool, as well as a children's club, event rooms and shops. The gastronomic and entertainment offer will be designed to satisfy both families and couples.
Saint Croix HI, a socimi of the Pryconsa Group, will carry out a phased refurbishment of a pre-existing hotel unit to establish the new Hotel Vila Galé Isla Canela. The renovation process will be carried out in a comprehensive manner. The search for the operator has been supported by advice from Cushman&Wakefield Hospitality in Spain.

Vila Galé is the second largest hotel group in Portugal. The most recent units to open this year include the Vila Galé Collection Monte do Vilar in Beja in April, the Vila Galé Collection São Miguel in Ponta Delgada, Azores, and the Vila Galé Nep Kids in Beja in June, and finally, in July, the Vila Galé Collection Tomar opened in the historic centre of the city.
