The Socimi Solvento Group 2022 has launched a strategic asset rotation plan. The company plans to exercise a purchase option this financial year on a 51-apartment holiday complex located in the La Merced area, in the heart of Málaga, for a total of €13.5 million, as reported by Economia Digital.
To partially finance this corporate transaction, the company has planned the divestment of assets located in San Pedro Alcántara, in Marbella.
Specifically, it plans to sell a further six apartments in the complex marketed under the Aqua Vento brand for €4.2 million and to sell the entire Aqua Duende complex for €3.1 million. The company’s management estimates that these sales will generate accounting capital gains of approximately €3 million.
This strategy to reorganise the property portfolio, aimed at optimising the portfolio and ensuring liquidity, was already implemented during the previous financial year. Throughout 2025, the property company completed the sale of seven residential units under the Aqua Vento brand, a move that generated direct profits of €2.8 million.
Alongside divestments on the Costa del Sol, the company has strengthened its presence in the retail property market. Recent acquisitions include a property leased to the Aldi supermarket chain in Alicante for €2.7 million. In addition to this asset, there is another in Benidorm leased to Carrefour for €1.4 million, a property in Adra occupied by Burger King for €2.1 million, and a premises on Calle Conde de Peñalver in Madrid valued at €3.3 million.
The company also holds properties under management in Utebo, Zaragoza, and offices in Málaga with long-term tenants, such as Ilunion Outsourcing and Medac, which reinforces the stability of its rental income.
