Atom Hoteles has sold the Hotel Ibersol Antemare Spa, in Sitges (Barcelona), for a total amount of 10 million euros, as reported by the socimi to BME Growth.
The establishment, transacted through Atom Hoteles Iberia, a subsidiary of the group headed by the socimi Atom Hoteles, is located at number 48, Avenida Mare de Déu de Montserrat in the Catalan town.
The Hotel Ibersol Antemare Spa is a four-star hotel with 116 rooms. As for the facilities, it has a gastrobar, a restaurant specialising in rice dishes (La Pérgola), two swimming pools, a solarium area and 12 rooms with capacity for between 10 and 300 people.
On the other hand, in the statement sent to BME Growth, the company indicates that "the aforementioned property was pledged as security for a syndicated mortgage loan for a nominal amount of 199 million euros". "The company has proceeded to lift the mortgage that held the asset and to amortise a portion of the mortgage loan associated with that asset," it adds.
The Atom portfolio, according to Savills, was valued at €782.4M as at 31 December 2022, a year-on-year increase of 15.7%. At present, the company's largest shareholder is Bankinter, which holds 5.4% of the share capital.
At the end of last December, Atom Hoteles sold the B&B Hotel Granada Estación, located at number 35, Avenida de Juan Pablo II in Granada, for 5.5 million euros. A few months earlier, in April, the socimi closed the purchase of the Hotel Senator Barcelona, located at 11 Cardenal Reig Street in Barcelona, for 25.5 million euros.
