An investment fund managed by Banco Santander and Signal Capital has purchased the Hotel Sheraton La Caleta Resort & Spa from Grupo Disa for 80 million euros, according to Expansión.
The luxury complex has 284 rooms and 20 suites. In addition, 4 restaurants, 2 bars and 10 meeting rooms. Currently, it is managed by the North American chain Marriott.
The operation has been advised by Colliers, Pérez-Llorca and EY, in the case of the seller, and by KPMG on the buyer side.
The Signal Santander European Hospitality Opportunities vehicle has 200 million, 100 contributed by each partner, to invest in hotels in southern Europe. Its investment period is 5 years and it is open to institutional investors who contribute 5 million euros.
