Perial AM has bought the Dolce by Windham hotel in Sitges (Barcelona) from Angelo Gordon for around 75 million euros, according to El Confidencial.
The deal, which will be closed this week, will allow Perial to acquire a five-star hotel with 263 rooms, 41 of which are suites, as well as other facilities, such as a wellness centre or a conference space, in a setting next to the sea and a golf course. Among the hotel's strengths is the hosting of congresses and conventions.
The opportunistic fund Angelo Gordon bought the establishment in the summer of 2017 for around 40 million euros, although it subsequently renovated the hotel with an investment valued at 15 million euros. In addition, Perial has reached an agreement with Hotusa to operate the establishment for thirty years under the Eurostar brand.
Last year, Perial was also very active in the hotel segment, closing the purchase of nine establishments of B&B Hotels, a chain owned by Goldman Sachs, located in Catalonia for a total of sixty million euros.
