MVGM has added 47 properties to its hotel portfolio so far in 2026, bringing the total to 77 assets under management. The portfolio covers more than 553,000 sqm and 9,067 rooms in Spain and Portugal.
It includes urban and resort hotels as well as tourist apartments. For these assets, MVGM provides property management services focused on monitoring lease agreements, managing risk and overseeing capital expenditure (CAPEX) on property improvements. It also advises owners on optimising their assets and facilities.
For part of the portfolio, the extent of which has not been disclosed, MVGM also handles facility management. This covers preventive and corrective maintenance, supervision of specialist suppliers, energy management and regulatory compliance. These services are supported by reports tailored to the hotel sector and to each client’s needs, to help monitor building performance and support decision-making.
Mercedes Blanco, Head of Singular Projects & Hotels PM at MVGM, linked the portfolio’s growth to the trust of owners and institutional investors, and pointed to rising demand for maintenance and technical management services. In her view, this reflects the need to align the day-to-day running of properties with owners’ return targets.
