The building has 20 rooms and a 200 sqm rooftop with a view over the mosque and it also features a Cordobese patio. One of the reasons behind the investment was the asset’s occupancy rate, close to 80%.
Mazabi has a 500 million euro portfolio, with this having been its fourth acquisition this year, for a total 20 urban and leisure assets. In an interview to Brainsre.news, its CEO, Juan Antonio Gutiérrez, announced he was ready to carry out operations worth 460 million euro, during 2021. The strategy is to focus on urban and leisure hotels.
The company’s latest acquisition was a 100 room hotel in Cadiz, in Puerto de Santa María. The complex is operated by Soho Hoteles and will receive one million euro for its refurbishment.
