Limehome has added a 42-room hotel in San Sebastián to its portfolio. The addition strengthens Limehome's presence in the city, where it already manages tourist apartments, while expanding its activity in the hotel segment.
The hotel includes a gym and breakfast area and was previously operated by a private investment owner, with Limehome taking over its management on 1 August.
Limehome took over the operation through a transition process completed in less than one month, allowing the property to remain operational and the management change to take place without interruption.
During the first year, the company plans to implement an investment programme to progressively adapt the building and rooms to its design and technology standards.
The addition forms part of Limehome's growth strategy in the Basque Country and in urban and tourism markets with high barriers to entry, through the integration of already operational assets. Since launching its Iberian operations in 2020, the company has developed a management model based on the digitalisation of operational processes and a standardised accommodation offering.
