HD Hoteles is moving forward with its expansion strategy in the Canary Islands. The hotel chain has acquired the former Oasis Village hotel (Corralejo) on the island of Fuerteventura, a three-star hotel with 232 flats on a plot of more than 38,000 square metres.
With this purchase, which has been advised by Colliers, HD Hotels expands its portfolio in one of the most renowned islands of the Canary archipelago. The company plans to carry out a significant investment for the transformation and repositioning of the hotel, which will be operated under the chain's own concept, called Family & Joy.
With this acquisition, the hotel chain now has five hotels on the four main Canary Islands: HD Parque Cristóbal Gran Canaria, HD Parque Cristóbal Tenerife, HD Beach Resort Lanzarote, HD Acuario Lifestyle and now, the newly acquired hotel in Fuerteventura.
Andrés Domínguez, CEO of the HD Group, has expressed his commitment to the modernisation of the company's assets and its commitment to the sustainability of the environment: "We are repositioning our hotels with different brands, innovating with new tourism concepts focused on improving the customer experience and committed to the sustainability of the environment". The company plans to continue looking for buying opportunities in the near future as part of its expansion plan.
