Grupo Salas is entering the Madrid hotel market with the development of the Holiday Inn Express in Carabanchel, which will be operated by T3 Hospitality under an IHG Hotels & Resorts brand.
The hotel will be located at 35 Calle Treseta, on a plot of land acquired by the developer, and will have 137 rooms. It is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2029.
With this development, the group now has three hotel projects underway: one in Madrid and two in Catalonia. In Martorell (Barcelona), the other Holiday Inn Express will have 95 rooms and will be built in the La Sínia neighbourhood, on a plot owned by Incasòl. T3 Hospitality will also be responsible for its operation.
The portfolio is rounded off by the Hotel Fergus Style Port Ginesta, in Sitges (Barcelona), which will have 120 rooms. Developed by Satu Resort and operated by the Fergus Group, Grupo Salas is acting as the delegated developer.
