The Four Seasons chain, in partnership with the Spanish property investment firm Blasson Property Investments, has announced that it will expand its presence in Spain with a new hotel in Plaza Nueva in Seville, scheduled to open in 2028. The investment amounts to around €80 million.
The establishment, which will undergo a comprehensive refurbishment before opening its doors, will feature approximately 55 rooms spread across five floors and will incorporate three new spaces: a street-level restaurant, a rooftop bar and a lounge on the ground floor.
Other facilities include a spa, a gym and a rooftop swimming pool with views. The architectural design will be handled by the Madrid-based studio Lamela, while the interior design will be overseen by Belén Domecq.
As the hotel chain has pointed out, its arrival in the Andalusian city underscores its commitment to “selective” growth, focusing on cities with “a deep-rooted cultural identity and capable of offering meaningful experiences to the luxury traveller”. In this regard, it has highlighted Seville as a “world-class destination”, emphasising its “vibrant blend of history, architecture and cultural attractions throughout the year”.
“As our presence in Spain grows, Four Seasons partnership with Blasson establishes a thoughtfully restored luxury offering that reflects the spirit of Sevilla while delivering the elevated service and genuine care that our guests know and trust”, said Alejandro Reynal, President and CEO of Four Seasons.
“Opportunities of this scale are increasingly rare. We are creating a destination that will welcome travellers to an exceptional setting that reinforces our shared commitments to sustainable tourism while showcasing the unparalleled hospitality, culinary, and wellness experiences that only Four Seasons can seamlessly deliver”, noted Enrique Benjumea, Founding Partner of Blasson.
