A group of Basque investors have closed the purchase of the Hotel Rural Morvedra Nou from the Bendito Vivó family, with the aim of opening all year round and promoting the attractions offered by the estate, according to the Menorca newspaper.
This luxurious four-star, 24-room hotel has been awarded the Biosphere Reserve seal, which guarantees its commitment to the sustainable growth of Menorca. Responsible with the environment, society, the economy and the surrounding culture.
In addition, it is also certified as Starlight accommodation, which allows you to enjoy the quality of Menorca's night sky as it is located in one of the island's centres of darkness.
This is the first investment in the hotel segment for the new owners, although they point out that it will not be the last. In fact, they are currently negotiating the purchase of a hotel in Mallorca for its subsequent refurbishment.
On the other hand, the investors have confirmed that they will keep the current staff and that they want to 'offer experiences and open up the estate more', as well as 'promote the landscaping', because it has many beautiful areas for hiking, cycling or starlight tourism.
