The Navarra hotel group Eventshotels has bought the former Hotel Nicol's in San Sebastian, located on Monte Igueldo, with the aim of transforming it into a boutique hotel of experiential and sustainable luxury.
The hotel establishment will have 10,000 square metres of gardens, 50 rooms, two restaurants, a spa with treatments, a solarium, a pelota court, a private car park and spaces dedicated to MICE tourism (conference and convention tourism).
The project will generate more than thirty new direct jobs. At the moment, the project for the integral transformation of the hotel is being drafted, which will determine the necessary investment. It is expected to open by the end of 2023.
The company currently owns two hotels (the Villa Castejón and the Hotel Pamplona El Toro), the restaurants VerduArte (Pamplona) and Cookarte (Tudela) and several leisure spaces such as La Terraza de Baluarte and El Escondite. It also manages the restoration of the SendaViva theme park, the Navarra Arena and Baluarte.
